JyellowL the Nigerian / Jamaican rapper based in Ireland has burst onto the European and UK Hip Hop scene. In a short time he has performed at festivals throughout Europe and UK, toured as support to Hip Hop titans including The Game, Nelly, De La Soul, and Jay Rock, and had his song ‘Ozone’ featured on the official soundtrack for FIFA 20.

JyellowL capped off what was globally an unpredictable and challenging year with his critically acclaimed debut album 2020 D|vision, which was nominated for Irish album of the year 2020 at the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Awards and debuted at number 2 on the official iTunes album charts as well as number 1 in the hip-hop category. The album served as a timely soundtrack and breath of fresh air for an overwhelming year, manifesting JyellowL’s intention to put Irish rap on the map as a force to be reckoned with on a global front. The Irish Times highlighted the “clever wordplay and precocious wisdom” of JYellowL's 2020 D|vision, while Hotpress magazine heralded it as a body of work that “consistently hits the mark” and others described the album as reminiscent of P.M Dawn and The streets.

JyellowL is emerging into this changing world of 2021 with a string of new releases and collaborations coming to fruition. The next phase in his blisteringly fast rise is envisioned as 'Yellowszn'.
